Cultural history of hunting

The exhibition space displays hunting weapons from the 18th and 19th centuries, the vast majority of which come from private collections. In addition to all this, there are also documents on gun ownership from the last century and equipment needed to assemble ammunition.
The room can be walked around, so visitors interested in weapons can take a closer look at the exhibited artifacts.
The blue wallpaper covering the walls of the room also has a historical reference: the room functioned as the "blue salon" and Irén Hatvany's bedroom during the Hatvany family's time, thus evoking the atmosphere of the past for visitors.
The exhibition also offers an interactive experience: with the help of a touch-screen system, visitors can virtually assemble a weapon, thus deepening their knowledge of the technical characteristics of firearms in a playful way.
